Our vineyard was originally planted with this wine in mind.
Each varietal was planted in proportion to it's contribution to the blend.
This Bordeaux style blend includes Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet franc and Malbec.  It was aged in french oak for 14 months.  This fruit forward blend is rich in flavor, color and texture and is structured for longevity, but is also very drinkable at release.

Our vineyard, from it's inception, was planted with this varietal specifically placed in a location that would allow it to thrive and mature fruit of a consistent quality and character. A small portion of the fruit used to make this wine was sourced from a friend’s small vineyard which like our vineyard is micromanaged and meticulously cultivated to ensure optimal quality and timely harvest. (332 cases)





2011 Pinot Gris

At River Stone Pinot Gris is planted in a location that allows it to thrive and mature fruit of a consistent quality and character.  Like all our varietals, it was meticulously managed to ensure optimal quality and a timely harvest. At River Stone the Cabernet Franc comes from 10 year old estate grown vines. The wines produced are showing exceptional quality and depth of flavors and texture that reflect the glacial soil of River Stone on which they are grown. This wine was matured 14 months in 100% French oak and should age well up to 7 years.

2010 Merlot

Merlot is the backbone of our vineyard. We chose this varietal because it thrives in the South Okanagan climate and, when grown on our unique rocky soils, produces rich full-bodied, fruit-forward wines. This wine was matured 14 months in French oak and should age well 5-7 years.
Merlot loves our site, and we love Merlot!

This fun summer wine is sure to make lasting ripples on your senses.  Pinot Gris grapes, from the near-by Whispering River Vineyard, were used to produce this fruit forward wine. Splash has a touch of sweetness to balance the wine’s natural acidity.  This wine pairs well with good company beside the pool, lake, river or sprinkler. Best served slightly chilled.

This wine is the product of our 100% estate grown grapes from our vineyard near Oliver. The grapes are grown on the hottest part of our vineyard where they are fully ripened and harvested in late October.  Aged 12 months in French oak, it is rich in varietal fruit flavors, color and texture. Savor with good friends and fine foods.  Ages well for 5-7 years.
