Visiting the Winery
What are your tasting fees?
We offer two unique wine-tasting experiences:

Terroir Tasting: $10 plus tax

Garden Seated Tasting: $25 plus tax, including a keepsake River Stone Riedel Bordeaux glass
Are your tasting fees refundable?
Tasting fees are non-refundable. Complimentary tastings are available to River Stone Wine Club members.
Are reservations required?
Reservations are not required, but are recommended on weekends or for large groups.
Are you family-friendly?
Yes! We are happy to host families. For safety and comfort of all guests, children must remain with their accompanying adults during the tasting.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes, we are dog friendly. Be aware, we have two vineyard dogs, Jasper and Cody, that are regularly greeting guests in our tasting room. We request keeping your dog on a leash during your visit.
Where is the tasting room located?
The River Stone Tasting Room and Garden is five minutes north of Oliver, BC off of Tucelnuit Drive. The tasting room is located at the back of the home. Please park at the top, and walk around to the tasting area.
Do you have a picnic area?
We no longer offer a picnic area, and outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Do you serve food?
We offer a selection of locally sourced charcuterie, cheese, and accoutrements to enjoy with your tasting or with a glass of wine in our tasting garden.
Can I host private events at the winery?
We do not host private events at the winery. However, we regularly organize public events and celebrations. Visit our Events page to see what’s coming up.
How can I find out about events?

Wine Club
Do you have a wine club?
Yes! River Stone offers two wine club membership options: Estate and Reserve. Each tier is designed to make enjoying and receiving your favourite River Stone wines convenient.

How do I join the wine club?
You can join the River Stone Wine Club online or at our tasting room. Members receive an email approximately two weeks before their Spring and Fall shipments.
How do I cancel my membership?
While we’re always sorry to see a member leave, we understand that circumstances change. New members are required to remain in the club for two shipments (one year) prior to cancellation. Cancellation requests can be sent to info@riverstoneestatewinery.ca or by calling us at 250-498-0043.
Wines and Purchasing
What wine styles is River Stone known for?
River Stone is known for bold red Bordeaux varietals (Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec) and aromatic white and rosé wines wines (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sparkling White Merlot, and Malbec Rosé). You can find our featured bundles and portfolio here.
Who is the winemaker at River Stone?
Austin Hodinsky is the Winemaker and Vineyard Manager at River Stone Estate Winery.
How can I buy River Stone wines?
River Stone wines are available at our tasting room and online. We are also available at private liquor stores, Save on Foods, and restaurants. You can find our current availability here.
Are River Stone wines gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian?
Yes, River Stone does not use gluten or animal products in the production or fining of our wines.
I am a retailer/restaurant, how can I order River Stone Wines?
As a small winery, we are always happy to have our wines accessible outside of the winery and work with new industry partners. Contact General Manager, noelle@riverstoneestatewinery.ca for availability and distribution information.
