River Stone Estate Winery Celebrates Three Medal Wins at the All Canadian Wine Championships
River Stone Estate Winery is delighted to announce their outstanding success at the esteemed All Canadian Wine Championships. The winery's dedication to crafting exceptional wines has been recognized with not one, but three prestigious medals. The 2019 Corner Stone claimed a well-deserved gold, while the 2021 Malbec and 2022 Rosé both secured silver medals.
The All Canadian Wine Championships is a highly respected competition that brings together the best wines from across the nation, allowing wineries to showcase their talents and innovations. River Stone Estate Winery's exceptional wines caught the attention of the judges, resulting in a remarkable achievement for the winery.

The 2019 Corner Stone, River Stone's signature Bordeaux style blend, triumphed with a gold medal. This wine contains a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot and was aged 18 months in French oak. This fruit-forward blend is rich in flavour, colour, and texture and is structured for longevity.
In addition to the gold medal victory, River Stone Estate Winery's 2021 Malbec and 2022 Rosé both claimed silver medals, further adding to the winery's accolades. These wines embody the winery's dedication to producing exceptional varietals that capture the essence of the grape varieties and the rocky, gravelly terroir of the region.
The 2021 Malbec, a River Stone favourite, is a beautiful inky dark violet color and has bold spice overriding ripe fruit flavors and concentrated textures from mature tannins representative of the great growing season.
On the other hand, River Stone's 2022 Rosé is a delicate provence style rosé made from a blend of Cabernet Franc and Syrah grapes grown in River Stone's Boulder City Vineyard. This wine has floral aromas and flavours reminiscent of strawberries, raspberries and rose petals.
